About this tool
Resize by pixels for websites and social media, by percentage for quick shrinking, or by real-world print size in centimetres, millimetres or inches. For print sizes the tool converts to pixels using the DPI you choose (300 DPI is standard for photo printing).
Frequently asked questions
How many pixels is 3.5 × 4.5 cm?
At 300 DPI it is 413 × 531 pixels; at 200 DPI it is 276 × 354 pixels.
Why does my resized image look blurry?
Making an image larger than its original size can’t add detail. Resize down for the sharpest result.
Can I stretch the image to a different shape?
Yes — untick “Keep aspect ratio” and enter both width and height.
