How to delete pages in PDF free (step by step)
- Open Delete PDF Pages on your phone or laptop.
- Choose your PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- Tap each page you want to remove. It turns red so you can see what will go. For long documents, type page numbers like 2, 5-7 in the box instead.
- Tap "Delete marked pages".
- Download the new PDF and scroll through it once to confirm.
Your original file is never changed, so if you remove the wrong page, just open the original again and redo it. The tool always keeps at least one page, because a PDF cannot be empty.
How to rearrange PDF pages (step by step)

Adding a missing page in the right place
Forgot to include the signed declaration in your application, or need an annexure after page 4 of a contract? You do not have to split and re-merge. Use Insert Pages into PDF:

- Pick where to insert — at the beginning, or "after page N".
- Add the second PDF (all its pages are inserted), or choose blank pages instead.

When a document needs several fixes, doing them in this order avoids confusion:

- Rearrange everything into the final order.

Does deleting pages reduce file size?
Usually yes, especially when the removed pages contain images or scans. Removing ten blank scanned pages from a 30-page file can make a noticeable difference. Rearranging, on the other hand, does not change the size, because only the order changes — the pages themselves are copied exactly.
Common questions people get stuck on
- The page numbers do not match. The tool counts pages by their position in the file. If your document has a cover page, page "1" printed on the paper may be the second page in the file. Go by the thumbnails.
- The PDF will not open. It may be password-protected. Open it with the password in a PDF reader, save an unlocked copy, and use that. Our tools cannot remove or add passwords.
