About this tool
India uses one time zone, IST (UTC + 5:30), and doesn’t change clocks for daylight saving. The USA, UK, Europe, Canada and parts of Australia do, so the gap with India changes during the year — New York is 9 h 30 min behind IST in summer and 10 h 30 min behind in winter. This converter uses your browser’s up-to-date time-zone database, so those changes are applied automatically for the date you pick.
Rows marked “+1 day” or “−1 day” fall on a different date from the time you entered — easy to miss when booking calls with the US. 🌙 marks times between 10 pm and 7 am, when people are probably asleep.
